(FROM 14 WEEKS TO BIRTH)

AT AMPTHILL METHODIST CHURCH HALL

Practising yoga during pregnancy improves posture, strengthens and tones pelvic floor muscles, relieves backache and gently tones abdominal muscles, strengthens and tones back, legs, ankles and feet, removes stiffness in hips and opens chest to facilitate proper breathing and circulation.

The classes are held on Saturdays, 10.00 am - 11.00 am.

They are followed by a drink and biscuits and the opportunity to chat to other mums to be.  

The cost of classes is £7.00 per class.

New from 11 September 2010
Mother and Baby Yoga
(from 8 weeks after birth, or 12 weeks following caesarian section)

Yoga in the post-natal phase aims to help you to recover from fatigue, tone your abdominal muscles and organs, strengthen your back, build up your energy levels and tone your nervous system, helping you to overcome ‘baby blues’.  You are welcome to bring your baby along to the class and according to your routine (or theirs!) they can play on their mat from home, sleep, feed and be changed when needed.

The class is followed by drinks and biscuits and the opportunity to chat to other new mums.

The cost of classes is £32.00 per four-week block
